The following information pertains to supervising Associate Clinical Social Workers. Please also see Statutes and Regulations, for specific supervision requirements
- Authorized License Holders
Mental health professionals authorized to supervise Associate Clinical Social Workers, under California law, must maintain a current and valid license, for the following:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP)
- Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) - Additional requirements for LEPs
- Licensed Psychologist (Licensed by the California Board of Psychology)
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist (Licensed by the Medical Board of California)
- Minimum Qualifications
